Human–AI Co-creation and AI Disclosure

I study how different forms of AI involvement and disclosure influence people’s evaluation of human–AI co-created work and subsequent decision making.

Generative AI in Education

I examine how the communication style and design of generative-AI tutors can influence student motivation, engagement, learning, and perceptions of autonomy support.

Selected Technical Projects

Image Captioning System
Developed an encoder–decoder image captioning system with attention using a pretrained ResNet-50 and LSTM, and deployed the model through a Flask web application.

Cathay Pacific – CUHK Practicum: Photolog System
Trained and deployed YOLOv8 models for aircraft cargo-latch inspection and developed a Flask/MySQL web application supporting image-based inspection workflows.

Little Red Book Crawler App
Developed a Python-based data collection application for retrieving public-facing social-media data for research purposes.
